Oh well... just install patches and use your head. If you're worried about spreading worms, install a software firewall..

The first sentence pisses me off, how they equate hackers to virus writing criminals. Completly different breed, people! I hate the media.

Throughout the rest of the article they are talking about how crucial military and other systems have been comprimised by viruses. The solution is very simple: Don't put crucial systems onto the PUBLIC network. Would you put a computer with all sorts of military data and such in an open kiosk in the middle of a park? No...idiots.
