Coilovers

I own a 1993 Honda Civic EX 4dr I was wondering what coilovers would be best for around $400. I have heard of the skunk 2 and Ground Control wich is better?

For your price range, ground control is good, but you'll want some new struts to go with them also. Your stock struts won't last long and won't give you a nice smooth ride.

Skunk2 is too bouncy. I have both of them. My teg rides hard on the skunk2. My civic has a set of Ground Controls. Ride quality is way better. I agree with 94_AcCoRd_EX on the strut comment as well.

i have the ground controls on my accord paired with koni yellows. the ride is smooth as hell and handling top of the line. my brother has the skunk2's on his integra and it's bouncy as hell, but he rides on stock blown up struts

DOnt get coilovers - it may seem like a good idea since you can raise and lower the car in your driveway, but everytime you adjust your ride height, you need to get an alignment since you will throw your camber/caster off.

just get normal springs - there is no reason to wanna mess with the height cause its gonna be hard for you to make sure the thing is balanced properly and that you have adjusted all the springs the same ammount.
