Ok, this may sound stupid...

I know this is going to sound kind of dumb, but I know almost everyone here has experienced this sometime or another. What is it you ask?.......muscle twitching. My right tricep muscle has been twitching since last night and it is driving me crazy! I've had other muscles twitch before but not for so long. So I guess my dumb question is....does anyone know what I can do to make it stop? I've tried stretching it, but that didn't work. It's funny looking cause you can see it twitching. I don't even know if there is anything you can do, but it's starting to get annoying! :irked:

Drink.

A lot.

It may not stop twitching, but at least you won't care. ;)

I've had that happen but not for that long. I seem to get it in my left eyelid a lot.....I remember seeing something somewhere at sometime (how many somes can I fit in a sentence?) that was talking of something that affected muscle twitching, like it was caused by some deficiency or something.....I can't remember what it was, though. Maybe sleep.....or some vitamin.

Good luck......

I have it happen sometimes too, also in my right tricep. I always just did some jogging then some pushups and it normally goes away...

try taking a daily vitamin... you're probobly deficiant in something... I think it's potassium (bannana's) but I'm not possitive....

here's basically what a google search of
""muscle twitching" causes"

"Tiredness, stress and nutritional deficiencies are probably among the commonest causes."

Cut off your arm.

I'll suggest that you are lacking a vitamin or mineral, because that is the best suggestion I have heard (it doesn't seem like a sleep deprivation or pinched nerve thing).

Of course, I'm no doctor.

That's messed up because my thigh muscle has been twitching for the past 2 1/2 days right above my knee. It doesn't hurt...but it's f@cking annoying!

hmm that explains your black eye :o

Whiteclipse99 10-20-2003 09:32 AM

LOL......thanks for the advice guys! It went away later that day but since I haven't been able to get on HST I wasn't able to let anyone know that. It ended up going away on its own, although I did try hitting it a few times, hehe. It probably was caused by a deficiency of something or another. My diet could be a little healthier and I know I should get more vitamins than I do.
