Windows ME is possibly the worst abination of software to ever plague this planet.....closely followed by Lotus software. ;)

In other words...don't use it.

I had to do WHQL certification on WinME when it was new and we could barely keep it running in the labs.

About ME, follow the adice everyone else tells you...and get XP or 2000(the most stable OS microsoft released to date. It just lacks the user interface XP has)

yeah win me does really suck. i think it's one of the biggest dissasters of the 20'th century :D on the other hand win200 is very good but if you wanna burn cd-rw's say good bye
