Out of boredom me and my friends sparked this debate while we sat in front of sheetz eating schmufins at 3 in the morning.

Would rather be a ninja..........or a samurai?

So I ask you.........which would you be?

I personally would be a ninja only cause they are cooler in means of stealthliness. But samurai swords are cooler. Which would u be?

If i were a ninja I could grab these girls' boobs and get away with it.

if i saw a ninja i'd shoot him in the head.

Samurai. I love watching them fight.

ninja... samurai are pussies... and they're just as dirty and dis-respectable as ninja's... ninja's just do their work at night...

samurai have some sort of false sense of superiority... ninja's are probobly cool dudes during the day but stealthy death machines during the day...

samurai are all arrogant ALL of the time...

and ninja swords are WAY WAY cooler than samurai swords...

even though theyre looked as being evil, unpure, dirty, and just all around bad guys...samurai just arent sneaky enough

Samurai, more honor and prestige to the name and to your familly. If you're a ninja, you do all this cool shiat and no one knows and my fat-mouth will tell everyone everything.

Ninjas derived from Samurai's anyway. Ninjas are just the outcast. I read a couple of books about them. They are really not against each other. It just happened to be that, since Ninja's were trained to be assasins, most of the political figures back then were Samurai's, hence the Ninja VS Samurai issue. There is an old movie called Shogun's Ninja that "soemwhat" depicts the whole thing.

So what is the best Ninja movie any of you have seen? Mine is Ninja in the dragon's den....

Ninja and samurai are basically the same... BOTH are HIRED protection/enforcement...

In general the ninja's worked for shadier types who were not in power... while samurai were hired by political figures...

the whole social system prevented a samurai from holding a position of power... they are merely "strong arm" men...

Ninja's while technically were on the "fringe" of jap. society... were no less respected (besides by the samurai) then samurai.

Both were considered thugs for hire....

Some on BOTH sides were honorable... but in general they were both people willing to kill/mame others for food/money.

The samurai just had a more socially acceptable station in life... where the ninja where more hidden.

it's all about samurai and what they were REALLY about...

Any evil or good done by either can be blamed/attributed to their employers... Most were simply in it for the money/food.

ninja. but ninjas didn't have cooler swords than samurai. The ninja's sword was actually really crappy, they viewed it as a last resort. If they got into a situation where they needed the sword to fight someone off they'd failed anyways.

there's a more important question that should be asked...
