engine trouble please help
 

Hello eveyone how are you guys. I have a 93 prelude witha 2.2 vtec in it. After 5,000 rpms it has a bad miss to it seems like.
I tried to put new plugs wired cap and rotor and even a fuel filter on it. It still does it. The weird thing is that it doesn't do it all the time. I was told that my coil could be getting weak and not putting ou the spark and or else i need new rings in my car. When i get on it hard it smokes bad. Could it be my rings that casue this casue not enough compression soemtimes. Please feed me soem in fo on this.

humm mine needs rings too.. but it doesnt miss that much.. every now and then it does.. but not a lot.. so it could be the rings

You might have a sticky valve somewhere or your timing might
be set to high..

Do you run or used to run any power adders (N2O, turbo, supercharger)???
