auto transmission ?
can over-revving an auto in neutral cause a shaky idle?
|
If done repeatedly, it will break soemthing. Is your idle shaky right now? Turn off your A/C, get your foot off the brakes, and check again. I dont understand why over-rev anyway.....especially in neutral auto tranny:confused:.

not me, i have a manual, it's a friend of mine.

Okay....sorry;). Have him/her check those...... Peace out... |
lol, it's all good, thanks for you help. i was also thinking it may have something to do with the stall converter, depending on what the shake feels like, i haven't been in the car...

the older the car gets the crappier it feels... once the motor mounts are worn a bit it really transfers the shake a lot more... or if you have inserts or aftermarket mounts... the I4 is a notoriously rough running motor especially when transversly mounted...
hondas usually have a balance shaft... but ours don't... I was just reading something on their site about some new vibration cancelling system that they have now... but I don't remember where I read it or what it was all about... |
