For those that dont know, I've been looking for one of these bastards for a very long time...and its just a little out of reach...sooo frustrating...

Up to $61? For a clock?

pdiggitydogg 06-09-2003 12:00 PM

its 200 at dealerships

SolPol 06-09-2003 12:08 PM

Are you kidding? Well, I guess I get it from the dealerships being JDM and all. Those Honda dealers love to screw ya. I never buy parts from the dealer if at all possible.

pdiggitydogg 06-09-2003 12:22 PM

oh you cant even order it from US dealers...you have to travel to europe or asia to get it...thats where its $200

but yeah i avoid dealerships like the plague

SolPol 06-09-2003 12:25 PM

Yup, they suck.

You get to a lot of dealerships in Asia? :bandit:

pdiggitydogg 06-09-2003 12:28 PM

I have connections my friend...i have connections...direct JDM y0!

SolPol 06-09-2003 12:31 PM

Well damn, connect me up man.

pdiggitydogg 06-09-2003 12:39 PM

its pretty hard sometimes...and its a lot of trouble; I dont like to do it too often.
I have to go though my friend in california who is originally from toyama, japan. I buy her an international calling card, send it through the mail and she calls her parents, who calls the family friend in tokyo or the other in osaka. They in turn get me the part and I forward the money, plus shipping. Its a lot of work for either side...but I could probably get anything I wanted. Plus she gets to talk to her family

SolPol 06-09-2003 12:46 PM

That is a process huh. It works though.

honda ripping you off ? wait till you see the acura dealers. when i needed screws for my brother's acura, the dealer asked $13 for some screws and honda charged me only $4 for them, same screw and everything

I lost my contact there. I'll find his ass tho...

Duckydos 06-09-2003 01:35 PM

I know a couple of people living in Okinawa, Japan (where I used to live). If you NEED something, and wouldn't be too hard to find, I might be able to get it for you.
