this isn't really even world posting, but i haven't had a race in awhile so i want to bask in the dim sunlight of my win for a bit lol. I pull up to this red light right next to some asian lady in a POS pontiac grandam. I thought about reving just for the hell of it but decide not to. Then the lady gives me this look and floors it as soon as the light turns green. I floored it and when flying by her laughing my rear off, because i never would have thought she would have wanted to race. Even after i passed her like she was standing still, she was still at it. She got up next to my rear bumper until i floored it again and then called it quits.

Sad i know, but it was funny to watch;)

grandams are quick.....i think like 220 stock and i believe they are all v6s...there still crap cars cause they have tons of front suspension problems....but i think that car stock is faster than any stock civic

i think it was an automatic, because she beat me off the starting line and I had to work my clutch like hell to catch back up and pass her, but once i caught up to her it was a cake walk. She got a head start is why though.

i was wrong they have 4 bangers in the earlier models

I think that you are talking about the GTP's that are supercharged that have 220.....i think....;)

huh? when and where the hell did i say that, it makes no sense.

i had a v6(automatic) one for a rental and that thing was a slow piece of crap. not to mention the car just felt cheap.

^it may have been beat up... I've NEVER driven a pontiac that wasn't quick.. they do feel cheap and crappy but they are fast.

all i know is when i hit the gas, the acceleration was pretty pathetic. maybe it's because I had a maxima right before that one and that thing was pretty damn quick.

the supercharged ones have 260hp i believe. None of them come in manual which is pretty lame. But it's even lamer when people try to do stuff to them. We have a boy in town that has one that has a bodykit and this spoiler that's like 4 feet tall, rims, nitrous. The cars nickname is the grocery cart.

i was at a light once w/ a GTP i looked over and gave him the "nod" i mean hey he has a pontaic so then i just sat there all of the sudden he revs' and i'm life he can't be serious. then he purges and i was like okay i'm game. we set up and i was watching the other lights, when our light went green he punched it and for some reason sprayed off the line. not but 1 second later i hear BOOM look in the rear view and there trans parts everywhere. he ripped his whole front end to shit... it was funny though
