question about projector headlights

Is there a for sure way to balance out the beams, cause one of mine seems higher than the other, and i can't balance.... LOL

TeriyakiBroccoli 05-05-2003 09:25 PM

there should be screws in the back of the headlight housing that you turn to aim them...

i know that, but how to make sure that they're at the same angle

TeriyakiBroccoli 05-06-2003 09:32 AM

why dont you just cover one of the headlights, aim it against a wall and measure the beam, then do it for the other one. does it really matter if they're at PERFECTLY equal height?

to me it does, or atleast really close to the same height

pdiggitydogg 05-06-2003 02:58 PM

theyre not supposed to be the same angle...the drivers side is supposed to be lower because of the drivers in the other lane...if its the same height as the passenger's it can blind people...

I HATE cars that have the drivers side up higher...and the problem is that 9/10 they dont even think about other people being able to see

good point :) thanks

but also it seems as if my driver's side light is dimmer than the passenger side light...

ebpda9 05-06-2003 04:21 PM
