Teg motor go for on a junk yard? i hear knocking in my engine, i'm using this as an excuse to get a swap ;) :yes:

I'm not looking for a type r or anything, maybe a GSR, but most likely an LS motor or somthing...

i hear somthing knocking against the head...er under the valve cover...i mean, gr, its up top, ontop of the engine, not below where the crank shaft or crank arms are...its above that...yea...sry if i was confusing.

Have you had the valves adjusted yet?

junk yard swaps can be tricky... you are going to need to get engine, tranny, axles, wiring, ecu, etc... best way is to buy the fron clip if they have it.

Uh, here, a GSR engine's going to run you about $3,000. Don't know about California babyface. Sorry.:kiss:

prolly ur valves are ****ed up....that would be nice to find a B series cheap..or a Teggy engine....LS

hey now, I don't think they gave me that price b/c I'm a girl.

98k is nuttin... its just nicely broken in.... plenty of life in that engine.. unless uve messed it up somehow, or havent taken care of it

i would stay away from junkyards if i was you

it sounds to me like your valves are overdue for an adjustament

they're about 2700 from a guy i know in SD.

edit: GSR swap that is. only thing u will need is the wiring harness
