high Idle
 

so i start my engine and sometimes (emphasis on SOMETIMES), it'll idle at as high as 2000rpm or at 1500rpm....is this normal

whats the temperature? mine does at 1500 when its like 0 celsuis out or less...but in drive it goes down to 800-900

yeah mine idles like 1500-200 depending on how cold it is.

Mine will idle like that when the car is first turned on but then it goes back to normal. I think it does this to get warmer faster???? I dunno just guessing.

its normally about 80 celsius out when it does..im in florida, always hot and humid, but it goes down after i drive for a few minutes
