tire issue

ok i need some help on this b/c i don't know much about wheels and s**t...but i am getting these wheels from my neighbor and we put them on to see how they looked but there was one minor problem...the wheel had the case of the wobbles...does anyone know if this can be fixed?

Wobbles huh?!

were they bolted down right? Were they damaged/dented?

If the bolt pattern is right, the wheels are in good condition and the wheels are properly installed it shouldnt be doing this.

That sounds very strange. What kind of car was it from? If it was from a car that is RWD (the back wheels get the power) the offset will be different, and can cause some problems.

they wobbled when sitting there or when driving? make sure they are balanced eh

make sure you torqued the lugs down to spec. otherwise you'll get a nasty wobble like that. to spec would be, somewhere aorund where you can't turn your tire iron anymore BY HAND. dont use a pipe or anything, cause they'll be on there so tight nothing short of welding a nut onto it and impact gunning it off will remove it...ask me how I know.

but yeah, also check the bolt pattern and if they are balanced. if in doubt, dont buy htem from him.
