um... yeah

drdingo21 02-12-2003 06:25 PM

wow 66!

ford50forlife 02-12-2003 06:27 PM

that material looks like the carbon fiber monocoque (sp?) that was used to make the mclaren f1.. its all well and good the body weighs 66 lbs now they need to get the hood on it and all the other accessories and ill bet it still weighs more than 2500lbs

FYI.. did you know the mclaren f1 starts like as a piece of expensive roll of paper? :loco: yes thats right... and its then bonded to this carbon fiber shit er sumthing and baked, its over 5000 pieces, and they BAKE it to get the finished product then put it together like legos....

uits a ****ing race body. its not going to be on the street. oh.. im guessing you overlooks the roll cage inside the car also didnt you.

ChrisCantSkate 02-13-2003 12:27 PM

and if it was hit? what would the body do? break :D it would flex to the roll cage a little, but it wouldnt break unless it was cut(sharp metal into it or something)
