how exactly did you guys get into cars?? was it a bf? just a natural need for speed? what was it?

natural need for speed, guy friends of mine introducing me to mostly imports, and I always played with matchbox cars when i was younger and would always pick the sports cars and what not. I've always had an interest in it....it's just grown and come to the forefront in the past couple of yrs.

that's awesome, dood... i wish my gf was into cars... she'll prob kill me the next time i say "honda"

It originally drew me in when I was about 2. My dad has always Drag raced & I've always been on his pit crew. Even when I was 2.

He's also always owned a body shop. When I got my first car @16 he wouldn't fix anything for me, but made me do it myself. It's just stuck w/me since then.

I've just always liked cars. I don't know how I got into them.

I got my ex into cars, so it wasn't something guys got me into.

My family like brother n law and cousin really liked cars so i got into them and then i was given my civic and after driving it i just fell in love:kiss:

My brother basically. I always looked up to my older brother and whatever he liked I liked. He loved cars and so do I. Then when I was 16 my bf had a suped up car. And I Knew one day I would have mine that way too. I love the shows, the speed, the cars. I got myself into autocross last year and thats my new found love. Its so awesome! I totally recommend everyone to try it once..you'll love it!

myself i like to go as fast as i can in a straight line.the rush of a sub 13 car is what i want.my b-friend has a mustang it runs 12s for now but is going to start working on it this week and hopes to put it in the 11s if not better.he just bought a 2000 prelude that he said he is going to work on.

Well I'm not a girl, but I have a little sister(18). The story is kinda the same as Terkels. I've always liked cars, but really got into them at 14, she started to look through my magazines, loved riding in my old GS-R, and decided she wanted one. She bought a 94 Prelude Si, and did the basic I/H/E, then added a full extreme bodykit, lowered, white 17 in. Motegi MR7's(her car is red), and an APR GT-1 wing(we're about to get rid of that) I just spent yesterday putting on a new front bumper I bought her......an R33. She's considering selling the car though. I'll put up a pic of it if I can find one.

OK, I got one, it was taken yesterday while test fitting the front bumper. The turn signals aren't on the car though. The pic quality is crap because it was taken with a polariod, then I put the pic in front of my webcam and took it.....hope it turns out OK.

I got into cars by just seeing so many interesting cars out there on the road and seeing how you can make them fast, plus the love of speed and just how great you can make a car look plus cars are just awesome!
