Word!

But in a different order..
Styling, reliability/durability, comfort, conveniences..

DomesticImport 01-23-2003 10:37 PM

well i didnt really choose it, but if i did it would definatly be for the way it handles in the winter and engine durability

RU_Teg 01-23-2003 10:38 PM

Fast and Furious movie...lol;)

nah I chose my acura because my brother had the same acura only it was a 4 door and I loved it and always wanted one for myself...:pfft:

94_AcCoRd_EX 01-23-2003 10:41 PM

Styling, reliability mainly.

a96710 01-23-2003 10:47 PM

I've always liked gen 2 and 3 Tegs. I got a screamin deal on mine for $1200 with 120k on it. I think Honda/Acura's are reliable and there are lots of aftermarket parts for em

pdiggitydogg 01-23-2003 11:13 PM

cheap, economical, good body lines, dependability, wide variety of parts, it matches who I am

JamieS697 01-23-2003 11:30 PM

Aftermarket parts, long last, on the cheap side

TeriyakiBroccoli 01-23-2003 11:33 PM

reliabilty, price, style :)

In that order.

ShagginJet 01-24-2003 01:05 AM

Well... 2k down, 30k in mods, and I have a Ferrari. Must have saved atleast 20 bucks and got to do it all myself.

Racing Rice 01-24-2003 07:20 AM

I thought it was cool at the time..:loco:

I guess you getting wiser with age is true.;)

DJWURM 01-24-2003 07:41 AM

styling, reliability, aftermarket support

mt.biker 01-24-2003 07:55 AM

Most car for the money, and i can resell it anytime and get a decend amount for it. Also, more tq then hp on my baby.

Sol's Eye 01-24-2003 08:00 AM

1. Convertible.
2. Convertible.
3. Convertible.
4. Economy/winter handling
5. Reliable.

blind34_1 01-24-2003 09:44 AM

I bought mine before I knew that it was possible for normal people to mod cars. I thought it was just for people with lotsa money and knowhow.

I bought my car because I knew hondas were reliable. I just stumbled upon it, actually.

Shot 2 Hel 01-24-2003 10:33 PM

i didnt buy a Honda but i would say that most of the people either bought it for reliability or b/c the aftermarket arena makes tons of parts for em

AJ1978TA 01-24-2003 10:54 PM

I like the 10 mpg, I like killing anything green that is living with my exhaust, being exempt from emissions, making 400 TQ..........DOH! NVM! :ricer:

ebpda9 01-25-2003 01:08 AM

styling, reliability, handling (at the time i didn't know how a honda handles), more tq than hp

ohiochica 01-25-2003 02:21 AM

i honestly bought my car becasue i gota super deal, and my bf is a honda tech and could fix it should anything go wrong. and because they last looooooong time and i drive a ton!

GirlRacer 01-25-2003 03:14 PM

At first, I chose Honda kind of by accident. When I turned 16 my mom had this old beat up 84 Prelude that she let me drive till my dad found me something else. I LOVED that 'ol thing. hehe, looked like poo, but it was a car & I was 16.

Then, my dad told me one day that he'd found this CRX & I'd only seen the 1st Gen CRXs so I was like :loco:  NO WAY! I don't wanna see it! But dad said well...we'll go look, if you still don't like it, we'll keep looking.

So I said:  fine. So, we went to look on the night of November 10, 1997 & when I saw it, I immediately fell in love with it. I knew right then I had to have it. The next day I went & pulled $3,000 from my savings & wrote the man a check.

The rest is history. My car & I have been together since November 11, 1997. I couldn't be happier.

I also drive a del sol...what's not to like

DsBlu01CivEX 01-25-2003 06:41 PM

I could afford it, I needed something reliable and got good gas mileage...and I had to have the EX cuz the EX only comes in the blue I wanted. So basically for the exact same reasons everyone else said. Although now that I have my Civic and I do love it, I wish I would have gotten a Honda in 99 when I could have gotten the Accord body I like sooooo much. I don't like getting used cars, I wanna know who's been beating/taking care of the car.

same... and i love the way my car looks

hondariz 01-26-2003 02:18 PM

The best reason I got one is I wanted something I could work with that would last for over 100,000 miles. I think they are a good investment as well

It was given to me!!!!!!!!!!

Civickid0to60 01-26-2003 06:01 PM

The fact that it is a reliable, safe, comfortable and affordable car that actually has style. Can be modded up anyway you want for anytype of person. So many possiblities and potential come with the car, even if you dont do anything to the car it still looks nicer then half the ones out there. Customization was important for me and with a honda possiblities are endless.

[yoda voice]much to learn you have[/yoda voice]

Civickid0to60 01-26-2003 06:19 PM

haha, im talking about as in what you wanna make it to be. for customization, you can visualize anything with a honda, just the bodystyle. if that makes sense:crazy:

Civickid0to60 01-26-2003 06:20 PM

how bout this.........

with a honda possibliites are endless.............to a point in which the possibility is no longer there thus making it not so much endless, but limited.

better?
