I jsut got a set of speakers for my computer and i am so stunned about them i figured i would have to tell you guys. These things are hands down the best out there and they are not mad expensive. Thjey have a huge amp with them also. The amp is rated at 100w rms to the sub and i think 20 rms to the satalites. Plus the satalites are flat panel. i have never heard one before but they are clear as shit. The companies name is Monsoon Planar Media. Anyways if anyone is looking for a set of speakers you must try these out. Ok ill stop typing.

yeah the monsoons have those electrostatic satellites. sound really clear.

i prefer headphones for computing.

I have my comp hooked up to my home theater system. Now that sounds sweet when playin games and music

yea my friend had monsoon's there great i like them...but i have mine hook to my 3 foot KLH speakers and 2 jbl 500's =) nice bass and sound

yea monsoons are great, i think at one time they were using the monsoon speakers in mustangs from the factory

i just bought the klipsh pro media 5.1 speakers and i love those

I second that! I have my computer hooked to my 5.1 Sony Home Entertainment Center...The sound makes you want to cream in your jeans!

grab a pair of good headphones ($200+). you will then know the true meaning of bliss.

Damn straight. Headphones are cool as well, but then you don't get to feel your games. See, with movies, music, games, etc. I like to feel it as much as i see it or hear it. ;)

surprised no one metioned kilpsh. hey are about 400, but there sound quality is un matched

headphones are SO much better than speakers in games.

granted you don't get to feel the bass but the sound placement is a million times better.

multimedia speakers are junk no matter what they are.
