5th gen bites the dust

well.. as much as i preach about not street racing, i had to today. going out to eat, me and this 5th gen prelude who's rumored to have a jdm h22a, i/h/e, basicaly, i didnt launch because i didnt wana spin, he launched, i still had him by 1/2 a car into 2nd, and 2 cars by 3rd. went again and i launched, took him 2 cars by the top of second and shut down. we were the only 2 around, its just been months since i've street raced, and i herd this guy was fast. i guess weight is the devel

Are 5th gen ludes slower than 4th gen? I always thought they were equal.

combine that with the weight factor and you get the 2+cars by the end of 2nd

nice kill. h22 kills h22

ChrisCantSkate 01-05-2003 01:33 PM

5th gens are slower than a 4th gen vtec, its a combonation of extra weight and bad gearing i believe. its about .2 or .3 secs slower stock, and the 5th gens are obd-ii, im obd-i, less sensors to correct the added air from bolt ons.

u h22's are supposed to stick together!!! jus kidding nice kill, i raced another DX before, but compared to your h22, watching us would be like watching cows migrate...
