torque setting on bolts

I bought some second hand crower rods and bolts so they came with no manufacturers specs, does anyone know what the torque setting should be? Also is it wise to use any lube on the bolts when assembling. Also does anyone thread lock theres?

i'd call up crower, they will tell you

it'd be better to go off bolt stretch rather than torque settings.

17 pound feet of torque i think is what it is. Team-integra has an article on it so it should be the same for your car

Stock should be around 20-22 ft/lbs. But you really to look at factory specs instead. Az has a great point also. Bolt stretch is something to consider about.

i called crower and they said 19lbs is as high as i should go. so i put them at 18.
