It's been my view that the overall package is always more important then simple looks when trying to decide if I should date someone. Relationships take more then good looks.

You HAVE to have some physical attraction. Granted, I think a person's attitude and personality are a very important part as well.

Indeed...like it or not, physical attraction is paramount. You wouldn't go up and try to hook up with some boogawoof, would you? Chances are, no. Physical attraction is initial. Everything else is icing on the cake.

Didn't say there couldnt be any physical attraction, and yes it is important. Though when deciding to be with someone for the rest of your life if all you enjoy is him/her's body you maybe in for some serious trouble.


For a one night stand, personality doesnt matter. For a lifetime mate its more important then people give it credit. Consider for a moment when both people age, they will lose some or all of what was intially attractive. At this point you better pray you like the person you're with.

ive had it work backwards before.. where i didnt nessisarily find her hot, but once i got to know her more i found i thought she was more attractive physically than when i first met her. i actually initially looked right past her because of looks... but ya know.. its impossible to understand how it works sometimes. i think it was because she had some natrual beauty that she didnt try to amplify with her cloths or overdone makeup, and well, if someone walks by wearing a sluts uniform then im gonna stare, and she moight be real hot but not really have any beauty... i think i confused myself haha.

I think the chicks hot and whatnot... but in a in 4 years kinda way... her legs are too skinny small boobies and she just looks young... she also looks like a bitch... sorry it's just an impression from the picture not saying she is or not.

As for the physical attraction bit... I have a funny story about that... when I was dating my now wife in Boston I worked in a resturant.. there were mostly REALLY hot waitress' and whatnot... but there was one that was def. not attractive... but she was like almost my perfect counterpart... and she was obsessed with me... If I was single I'm pretty sure I would've at least tossed her a lay cuz of how much I liked her for her... it really didn't matter what she looked like she was so cool... and after a while of thinking of it like that I started to find certain things about her attractive...

I don't know how far that could've gone... but I would've been more willing to put up with her bad looks and great personallity over like at least 50pct of the REALLY hot waitress' cuz of how G'dam nuts, annoying, or stupid they were....

Although there were def. girls there that I had MUCH more flirtacious relationships with that I prob. would've hooked up with first.
