Yes, to "get by" the school year. I worked at Journey's for like, a year plus so that didn't help tame my fettish. I have like 93 pairs of shoes or something, excluding flip flops.

I never got to get those Nikes, I wanted the orange/blue one but after I got my iversons [baby blue, royal blue and white] I thought they looked funky and am now staying away from it.

Iversons rock~ I got 4 pairs of them at the moment at like 3 or 4 in the past..

Mine are in storage right now, they make my feet look big and goofy.

nope, they didnt offer me squat.
They just took the special order. The largest size they had in stock was an 8. Now, I havent seen these shoes ANYWHERE else but on that shelf, and now on my feet - no one has these yet. So why do they only stock an 8? Geez...

I was just asking because we always tell customers that our "socks are 40% off today which makes it 8.95" even when it's not just today..and the 8.95 is regular price. Everytime I shop at a Journeys outside of the one I used to work at and they offer me socks, I always tell them that it's bullshit and that's false advertisement. And smile..and walk away as they think I'm rude. :rolleyes:

So you're rude to salespeople who are doing the exact same thing you used to do? How...interesting. Also...if it's an everyday "sale", technically it's not false advertising since you could tell someone stuff is on sale "today" if it is, in fact, on sale everyday.
