thermal 03-22-2005 04:51 PM

ChrisCantSkate 03-22-2005 05:02 PM

your making me want to rebuild the h22 i have sitting in my friends garage

IALuder 03-22-2005 08:53 PM

you should. or sell it to me after you rebuild it.

thermal 03-22-2005 08:58 PM

rebuild it dude. it is so much fun man.

ChrisCantSkate 03-23-2005 10:14 AM

im gonna yank the head off and possibly shave it down, and get a little head work done, 3 angle valve job and a little pnp probobly. then depending on how the block looks i'll go from there.

ShEaNy 03-23-2005 12:08 PM

awesome...then u sell it to me:)

thermal 03-23-2005 12:57 PM

As much as possible, do the work yourself. You can PnP that yourself using dremmel gadgets. I did a Y8 before and it spooled my friend's turbo so much quicker.

i'm doing good... i haven't installed it yet on my car cuz im waiting to do my swap, well waiting for my friend to swap his new motor in and i get his LS. its really easy to learn how to use Uber. a lot of it is self-explanitory. just gotta understand a/f's and duty cycles for injectors and you should be fine.

but i ran into another fork in the road... i'm tempted to sell the honda and get something faster - either Evo MR or 350z... not a big STI fan. i was really close to doing it but a friend of mine is selling her 91 240sx for dirt, im mean dirt cheap. i'm tempted to buy that, along with an S14 silvia motor, bigger turbo... hello drifter/race car. too many decisions... not enough money.

thermal... looks f'n sweet. can't wait to see numbers and perhaps a few videos if you can muster that up.

lol... that is not an EMS. It's the C2Di box. I'm sticking with Hondata until i figure out how to dyno tune.

lol..... i dont even want to think about it man. The total turbo cost ever since my first T3T04 set-up cost as much as the whole car already.....

MissJDM 03-27-2005 11:10 PM

I'm in love with the turbo manifold.

w0rd. simply..w0rd.

dabouncerx24 03-28-2005 12:41 AM

That Red Dragon looking thing is the turbo manifold?

thermal 03-28-2005 05:25 AM

thermal 03-31-2005 07:27 AM

I cleaned up some:

JDMFantasy2k 04-03-2005 03:37 PM

holy fuck. I looked at that downpipe and started giggling like a little girl. Crazyness. Do you have an EGT plumbed into the DP and if so, why? I thought that made for really inaccurate readings....

thermal 04-03-2005 03:52 PM

Actually, EGT are better to have than A/F ratio gauge. EGT's are more acurate than A/F. The 2 bungs plumbed on the DP are for EGT and A/F. I use GReddy gauges. The GReddy A/F still suck ass tho, eventhough it came with its own O2 sensor. I put it there for now. I will get rid of that A/F ratio gauge later and use the O2 bung for a wideband.....

IALuder 04-03-2005 08:22 PM

awesome. so when are you going to build up my H22?

thermal 04-03-2005 08:54 PM

Buy the parts and bring it over. I'll hook you up....

pdiggitydogg 04-03-2005 09:38 PM

Why isnt the EGT in runner 3 on the manifold instead?

thermal 04-04-2005 05:32 AM

I prefer not to drill a whole on runner #3 on my Lovefab manifold. I did that on my old SFP manifold and had a hard time selling it. I'm not too worry about it tho since I'll be getting a wideband instead.

ShEaNy 04-04-2005 11:31 AM

looking goood man..that DP looks crazyyy

IALuder 04-04-2005 01:38 PM

thats a long ass hual. but it might be possible!

that was my thought exactly

hey arnel, how big is that wastegate? i'm assuming it's a tial.

thermal 04-04-2005 05:55 PM

The wastegate is only 38mm Tial. Depending on my dyno results, I will mostlikely upgrade to 44mm. I will get an adapter plate vice trying to get a different flange rewelded......

Sivik 04-05-2005 07:41 PM

just get the wideband now, after all the money you spent a wideband is considered pocket change.

you gonna tune it yourself on Hondata or have someone else do it? i figure with all this work you should tune it to complete the package.

thermal 04-05-2005 10:31 PM

Nah. My tuner is the shit. He owned the second Hondata ever made. So his knowledge about it is unbeatable....

Sivik 04-06-2005 01:56 AM

ah gotcha... just saying cuz i've been learning and its not hard.

oh by the way... i hate you and your turbo Type RRRRRRR!

thermal 04-06-2005 03:08 PM

lol

thermal 04-14-2005 08:37 PM

I just got the Teg towed to get it painted...... Hopefully next week, I'll be working on dropping the motor in...

thermal 04-15-2005 05:47 AM

Pinoy hook-up mang..... $1500. They will be stripping the car down, fix all the wholes on my trunk, paint the engine bay, paint the car, paint door jams, pain the trunk, and polish my CF hood. It should look awesome! I've seen their work. I'm very impressed....
