u shouldn't have painted the door trim, shoulda left it black... looks weird painted the same color... other then that looks good

most other cars the door trim is painted with the car.. black looks cheap

black looks better, imo.

Ok first of all. U! Chill out! You did a hell of a job painting it. It looks very very clean, and I definately give u props on the job u did. Unfortuanetly I dont care for the color, and I dont like 4 doors either. Remember if u post a pic of your car and ask what people think then u are going to get people that just dont like it. I think that u would be more appreciative of people being honest about it. Remember u cant please everyone.

i just watned to say that, that doesn't look like the 350z blue, my friend has an mitsu thats painted that, and its darker then that i think you got ripped

the reason your friend's is darker is because it is. he isn't using the same brand paint with the same mixture of chemicals. for this particular application, we chose to add more 'metal' to the paint to give off more shine. and also, yes the car is naturally alittle lighter, we didnt want it *exactly* the same as the 350z blue. so, no i didn't get ripped off. doing almost everything myself, made sure that it came out exactly as i wanted it to.

oh ok, well then i'm glad for you, i just noticed that in the pic, it might just be the pic, and i'm sure they probably look alot alike IRL, good job on the paint also

thx alot. paint is starting to wear already even as this thread still lives, probably either going to touch up and re-buff or just recoat the car in another type of custom color. possibly color-shifting dark-blue to lighter blue in the next 3 months. also expect to see a very simple JDM style lip kit around the car.
