yes you use the rubber cup. and as for the bushings they go on the end where the shift linkage connects to the shifter.

vibrating...does anyone know how to stop it...??? manily in 5th gear but its driving me crazy. almot to the point where i want to take the short shifter off help please

yeah just put some washers in between the shifter and its forks...its too loose. Problem solved...at least it did for me on my b&m. (get plastic or stainless steel)

could also be the heat shield and the bottom of the shifter contacting, thats what it is in my case...

I got a b&m and mine was vibrating like crazy in 5th gear. A local shop just heat up my exhaust pipe and bent it slightly for about 10 dollars. It hasn't done it since. It was a $10 spent well

i got an eBay shifter as a gift from my beloved g/f and my friend and i installed it today along with the E.S. Polyurethane Bushings and leather boot with red stitching (looks great! :yes: ) the shifting feels crisp/direct/firm and way shorter than before... but i also happen to break that plastic piece that goes on top of the boot so right now it looks kinda funky...

anybody know where i can get a new one??

just use the rubber band to hold it on the shift knob, looks better anyways
