If I got to know the girl really well before it became a LD relationship or I had the chance to get to know her well I would do it.

It really depends on the type of person they are though. If you dont have 100% trust in their actions dont start somethign that will lead to much pain. You have to have really good communication when it comes to something like this.

I think it would be hard for me. If I'm dating someone I love to spend lots of time with them.

If I'm in love with them, then I'd make the effort but if it was just a non serious boyfriend, I don't think I'd try it.

yeah... LD might work after you know the person, it would be hard to date someone and never be there with them IMO

Same kinda thing happened with my friend. Met a girl but had to go back up to school. They had 1-2 weeks. They tried it for a bit but it just didnt work. If they had longer it probably would have had a better shot.
