race an officer

Your not going to believe this but I raced an American police officer today. Dont know what he was doing up here but from what I could see he was from Buffalo.

I was coming back from the distributor (for allmyhome.com) and I stopped at a light. I was running late so i was punching it off the lights till about 80km/h and then staying there. Well the light turns green and I'm off and at about 30km/h out of now where this Buffalo cop is beside me passing me (I'm guessing he was crusin through the light), well towards the top of first I've made up the distance that he had on me (about a car length) and then proceded to 80km/h and which point he just looked over and smiled and gave me the thumbs up.I waved back at him and he made a right at the next light.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've seen an American Officer up here I think he might have been border patrol or something. Not really sure why, and maybe this wasn't a real race but i thought it was cool. Later I had second thoughts about getting up to that speed 20km/h above the limit.

Definitely a nice kill....that's cool. It's very rare that you come across a cool cop...here in MS, most of them are dicks....

Tell me about it!!! I'm originally from the Gulf Coast (Biloxi,Gulport) and they were horrible on Hwy 90. I've only been up here for about 2 and half years now, but now that I've seen how bad Memphis cops are, I'd kinda rather the south...eerrrr, the further south :yes:

Makes me wonder about building a 200+ mph daily driver.....:pfft:

well, he's an american officer in canada, he cant even do as much as a volunteer cop, cause he's not a canadian citizen.

I know, I was down there for about a year and I didn't even try to speed while I was there...Memphis, huh? I'll be in Memphis on Saturday to see my daughter and do some Christmas shopping at the mall..........

I was riding with my buddy in his S2000 and raced one of them 5.0 stang Cop. It was from a stoplite. we went up to around 90-95mph in a 40mph and then stop. I was just crapping my pants the entire time, I was like dude you going to jail, well come to find out it was his uncle that was the cop and he wanted to race.
This was down in Sanford, Florida

I was tooling along and this mustang was catchin up with me. I was going pretty quick and I'm thinking, "oh this stang gonna do a domestic ricer flyby..idiot.." It matches my speed, I look over and its a cop. I'm going about 10 over, and he motions to me to slow down. whoops! he could've pulled me over.

MY friend raced a cop in his 95' Jetta GLX or whatever it was. It was pretty close but the cop took him.
