Your Accord's weakest point?

Well the title pretty much breaks it down.



I'd have to say the weight fo the car (in relation to the power output..) !!

Thinking of it makes me want to ;(

But thats pretty much the only weak point on my ride! :p :p

I will have to say, i love white accords, even though I prefer 4th gens... 5th's arent so bad ;)

not a fan of body kits, but thats so subtle it looks GOOD, not a fan of nitrous either.... but if thats your thing, go for it, I actually like the hood... thats one thing i dont think i'd ever do to a 4th gen... a carbon fiber hood. and the H22a4... I had to change my pants... good work man.

i would have to say my motor...hehe i got a pretty much bone stock LX motor and to make it worse its AUTO...i see a H22 soon or get a RSX TypeS :D

thanx, yeah a smashed front bumper does suck. but what suckw even more is a smashed hood, right fender, cracked windshield, battery acid everywhere, smashed headlight and corner, smashed intake, and a scratched up bumper. ;(

yeah, insurance is paying $3775 and i'm getting $700 worth of extra stuff while its in the shop :p

1300lbs, man that would be awesome.. though our rides would have to be stripped butt naked.

Since we cant really loose weight (& feel great!), we just need to up the power.. Hummm, easier said than done.

But we simply complain about this like if it were a terrible mistake made by Honda. When the truth is that those 3000 lbs actually are there for a reason.

Anyways, I still love my ride.

1/4 mile in 15.5 @ around 90 mph.

top speed, no idea, since my speedometer stops @ 220km/h.

but i've rolled faster than that. A friend was following me on her bike & at a certain point (before the end of the freeway), she read almost 250 km/h. The sad part was that I wasnt really close to the end of the drive on my 5th gear.. Just had no more pavement!!

but anyways, at least 250 km/h.

mostly oem parts, just slightly modified. i'm gettin the emblems and windshield squirters shaved, aem cai, moldings, skirts, and windshield wipers painted, type-r grill, and w-type lip. it's gonna cost about $700 more than the $3775 check from the insurance though :( oh well, i just want the damn thing back!!

Yeah, I have been lucky enough to never have to walk around at Nopi. We know a guy who owns a golf cart sales business. He brings carts for us getting him in. Works out great.

Yeah, I got the new tranny in. Got it done 4 days before the show. I had no time to redo the trunk, or no money left to put on the turbo. That really sucks. Oh well.

so did u get the accord sir tranny or replace it with another lude one? and what was wrong wiht the original one to begin with?

it's gonna be another couple of weeks until i get my car back. we just now got our salvage title in the mail, so we can do the paper work to get a rebuilt title.

I got the Accord Si tranny. It was $100 cheaper, and it is geared for a little better launch then the Lude.

We did not tear the old tranny apart, but we think it was the TQ convertor that was shot. Hopefully I will be sending the other tranny to Level 10 in the next couple of months for a rebuild.

If you look at my thread in the Shifting Gears Forum entitled Premier Compacts Nopi Coverage, you will see a Green Accord. It is a 96 with the W-Type. It looks just like the one for the 94-95.

Log on to WingsWest.com and go to the bodykit section. You can find the price for the 96-97 2door/4door 4cyl/V6 kits.
