Good??? Bad??? How do they compare to a "regular" Mickey Thompson slick? I'm seriously thinking about getting slicks for this year but I need ones that are DOT approved for the local track. Are the Nittos my best choice?

Also, does anyone know where to get the best price on them? Thanks.....

Yeah, Nittos are good. I've been using them for my Ford Ranger throughout the years, and I can't say I have any complaints.

Yes, Nittos are actually affordable, if you know where to look. I bought my Nitto ridge Grappler (https://4wheelonline.com/nitto-ridge-grappler-tires.305266.0) tires online and I was able to find a very affordable set, fit for my budget. Of course, my son had to help me out with all of these "online searching" or whatever you'd like to call it, but I was able to get a great bargain, nonetheless.
