Front Speaker Size?

What is the size of the STOCK speakers in the front door panels of a 91 accord?...(mine lol) I bought 6 1/2's (alpine) and I was told they didnt fit...and they had to put 4's in....yet ive heard of someone fitting 6 1/4 or 6 1/2's..in a civic?

front on a 91 accord should be 6.5"....but it doesnt fit huh? Weird
civics 88- are also 6.5" front

OK i go there^^ and this is what i found:
Honda Accord SE 91 (front)4's (back)6x9's
Honda Accord EX/SE Coupe 90-93 5.25 6x9

hmmmmm 4's and 5.25's....im going to call the place and tell them i want 5.25's installed...not these 4's...

I just installed speakers in the front of my friends 91 beater accord lx, and there 6 1/2" front and back 100% sure on this, but anyway we bought 5 1/4" by mistake and got them to fit but they hit the window 1/4 way down I'm gonna have to fix this later:mad:

crutchfield??? K apprantly this is what happened...they didnt have any alpine 5.25's...everything BUT that size..and apprantly there a huge alpine distributor too...im like wtf..so they put those 4's in instead..and i was almost in an arguement with the guy about how 6.5's CAN or CANT fit in there...the install was all free so im guessing they didnt want to take much effort into this and just throw whatever would fit the quickest in..im not to happy with the customer service here...but i cant complain about these 4's..nice and clean sounding...:crazy: :crazy: ahhhh im going crazy lol....

not true, my civic (89 si) would only fit 5 1/4 WITHOUT severe modification

i trust no one no more lol....im just going to forget about it...there telling me they dont have 5 1/4 alpines in stock right now..im just going to stick with these 4's ...i got all my receits so its all good :) i got all these speakers on boxing day prices anyway :) :bandit:
