Alright... how do you defeat understeer, especially with a 4th gen lude? Wider tires, better tires, better suspension?

Also, I have 15"rims with Dunlop SP5000 tires for winter. In the Summer, I have 18"rims with Pirelli PZero Nero m+s tires.

8teenz are just too big. Excellent control though!!! I like the 15" rims, but they don't offer enough control. I would like to keep a smaller diameter, as to improve acceleration.

Hence my question... If I go with 16"rims, will I have a decent amount of control? For the rubber, I will probably go 225 or 215 40 16 to keep the diameter smaller.

The best way to beat understeer will be a fatter rear swaybar, and skinnier/no front sway bars. A lot of autocrossers will run with no front swaybar at all.

i used to have a rear sway bar on the accord with the konis on the hardest setting in the rear and halfway in the front. talk about throwing out the front

lol! I messed up my reply.. I meant to say you should run a smaller or no FRONT sway bar and a thick rear sway bar.

I accidently said no/smaller rear swaybar and a thicker rear swaybar.. I must have been half asleep when I replied the first time.

if you have adjustable springs might wanna lower the rear a little more than the front. that will help in better weight distribution. that's what i hate about most springs. they are usually lower by about.25" in the front biasing the weight even more towards the front.
