Ok guys I know I posted this up before, but until now is when I heard the noise come back.
When I go on bumps at 1 mph my front tires pass the bumps easily then when the rear tires hit the bump, somewhere in the rear part of the car makes creaking noise when it is bumpy. I tried pushing down the car 1-2 inch and letting go and the car bounces about 3 times. I recently had a mechanic fix it but it came back... any suggestions? is it my shocks only?

Sounds like shocks to me. What did the mechanic do to fix it last time?

might be some worn shocks

i don't think so, cuz i just got new, kyb shocks, and mine makes the same noise. it almost sounds like the glass of the rear window shifting in the frame...

If it's the same problem as before, take it back to the same place and find out exactley what they did last time and tell them that it is doing it again. Either they didn't do it right the first time, or it is something different.

Yeah, I did. The mechanic told me the car is still new so I dont have to do anything. I drove with him in the car to the freeway where there is mad bumps, I went 85mph and the car bounced up. The guy told me if I wanted to stop that, I would have to buy struts and then he explained to me what it is. I didnt understand a single word because the guy cant speak english.

Can anyone tell me if struts come with shocks? or if the struts will replace the shocks? Could it be my springs? because the creaking sounds like rusted springs jammin in together...

I need to act fast cause when I have rear passangers, they hit their head on the roof if I go around 80 and theres a freeway bump.

Any advice will be appreciated, afterall I am a newbie.

How many miles are on your car? Your car will have shocks on the rear and McPhearson struts up front. If you need new shocks for the rear you should always buy them in pairs. I can't remember but have you lowered your car?

if the car bounced like you said it did, then that would be worn/old/bad rear shocks, yes.

(struts and shocks have basically meaning w/ interchangeable words. shock/strut...same thing -> damper)

Im sure you can get cheap gabriel/guardian brand shocks at autoshit/advanceauto/pepboy/kragen/orileys/whatever for under $50 for the pair.

Im still not convinced that thats your problem but at least now it has information to support that idea.

my car is not lowered at all... the mechanic also showed me that there was no oil leak on the shocks, he also said My car is still new so the shocks will be good. The guy was a complete asshole cause he just said go get shocks Ill install em for 40$. It might not be the problem, what could it be? could it be the springs that are making the creeking noise?

I have 40k mileage

I would take the car to a different place and get a second opinion.
