Ok, what on earth is going on here? I just now saw a post that was some scary picture and then a pink thing that goes down 10 screen sizes! now the post is gone but I've seen the pink stuff in like two other threads.

Anybody have any idea what the crap is going on? Could it be my computer doing the pink stuff?

Even if you have broadband, chances are that your IP will chane from time to time.

With dialup, you dial the ISP and it assigns you an IP address each time. This ranges, but a whole subnet can be banned if need be.

This may cause problems for some users, but it can be dealt with.

if he somehow still causes us problems, we can just ignore him. Don't respond to any of his posts, and don't acknowledge him when he responds to threads. Don't even tell him to shut up. One of two things will happen:

1. He will go away and find some other board to pester

If he keeps popping up, even through a proxy, he can still be traced. If it becomes more of a problem, we can contact his ISP. Its amazing how fast ISPs are to jump on this stuff sometimes. We haven't had to do this before, but another board I'm a member of (non-car) is very good at doing this sort of thing and would be happy to help out I'm sure :)
