ok, a young kid owning a honda.... say as soon as he gets his license... is it going to be much, say if the car is not modded at all... stock just some looks pieces... it wont raise becuz of all the other people with performance parts... will it? sry me and my friend at have a lil dispute over this, he thinks no matter what, insurance is going to be high on a young kid in a honda even if stock.... with no tickets or anything.... think its cheap??

it will be expensive but just be sure that you have it w/ the slow engine and it will not be labeled as a sports car...therefore being somewhat cheaper

Modding it won;t matter unless you have a ghetto penny pinching crooked company. I had my 400hp mustang with nitrous insured as if it was a stock 66 stang.. insurance company
didnt give a shit about mods.

unless you want coverage, just like on my new car if anything should happen to any part of my stereo, i pay a $25 dedeuctable and they replace it, sure it raises my insurance but its nice to have, and really males do not get breaks in insureance untill they turn 26

My company labeled any DOHC honda engine as a sports car except for the 99ish Civic Si.

I would think they'd pay similar amounts of what other young kids who just got a license are paying. I bet there are a lot more stock hondas running around then modded ones for the insurance companies to notice.

Yeah...just don't tell them you've made mods unless you absolutely want them covered in the event something happens to your car. They'll bend you over and do you dry if they know you've got mods usually. Varies from company to company.
