ok i just bought my new apm its a hifonics zeues zx6400 amp and its way to big to mount unber my seat so where should i mount it in my trunk and still be able to use the trunck as a trunck i was think on the trunck lid has ne1 done that be4?

you might have a weight issue, i know that amp is a little on the big side, you bes bet is a clean mount on the back of the seat, that wayyou have full access to your trunk, and another thing, heat travels up, so you dont ant to run an amp upside down , youll loose power. whcih is another thing, amps loose half thier power through heat, so that is another thing to think about, a nonconspicuous location that recieves enough air

ya i nevber thought about baisc physics heat does go up now I fell dumb ok i thibk i will moun it ti back of seat thanks.:o

no problem, i see it alot, if mounted right you wont hurt your amp as long as you tune it right

the back of the seat is fine. What are you powerin anyways? Did you need such a big amp?

right now its going to be hooked up tp my infinty 4's in the front and infinity 6/9's in the back ya I know thats over kill but im going to be hooin up either 2 infiny kappa 12's or 1 infinty kappa 12 havent decide yet thoses are the 12.1d perfect kappa whenb i put um in im gettin a window sticker that says slamry my friends dad will makwe me one free;)

all i knwo is never mount an amp on the sub box, all the shaking and vibrating makes it fall apart, it rly hurts it....

not really, if the amp is built nice thatn you wont any problems, besides there is less vibratiing on the box than there is on the back of the seat.
