Our shit goes out if it rains. And by rains I mean if one drop of water hits a line it downs half the city. Damnit I hate this town.

it's really nice to not lose power, i drove past about 8 downed lines on the way to work friday(not more then 1 mile from my house) and i never had a surge, ComEd is making progress :)

ROFL... blew my main breaker the other week and thought the power was out. Had it out for like 4 hours then i went outside and noticed my neighbors had power... I was like WTF. Checked the breaker in back, DOH! Felt like an idiot.

Felt like an idiot. how large or a service do you have?? my main breaker has popped once(severe power spike that blew out 3 of my 4 surge protectors) and when a 200amp breaker pops you hear it
