I'm sorry to hear that Anna! Long distant relationships really stink! I had a similar type situation after highschool with my ex boyfriend. He went to college 3 hours away (although not near as far as your boyfriend is moving) and I'd like to tell you that it worked out and the long distant only made our relationship stronger....but it didn't and we had a mutual break up after about 2 months of him being away. It does take a lot of commitment and trust from both sides, but keep your head up Anna because for some couples it does work out!

If this boy means as much to you as you've told me, then I think you need to MAKE it work. The both of you are on teh same page about the important things, dont let a little distance stand in the way of you and a great relationship.

I'm here if you need to talk, though I dont think you really need to talk with anyone about this, you just have to make it work. Invest in a long distance plan and talk alot, fly out there for long weekends and what not.

All the best

Well your definately going to have to trust one another. And pleas don't be one of those couples who can "see other people" while they are away for long periods of time. That is just plain retarded and ruins the relationship.

Hey Anna...we all get depressed at some point, it just sucks cuz your's has to be over a long distance relationship. I don't know your situation, but the 2 of you can make it work if you want it to. Both parties have to want to make it work and be willing to make some sacrifices in order to do so. You seem like a strong chick and I think that you're more than able to handle this!

keep your head up and everything will work out how it's supposed to.

You know I went through the same exact thing with my "ex" girlfriend last yearr. Obviously it didn't work out. How long have you two been together. Me and my ex were together for 10 months before I went away. She was in Orlando and I was in Gainesville, 2 hour drive, so it wasn't that far. Let me tell you that she royally pissed me off (marriage shit, DONT TALK ABOUT IT that ruins relationships, not sex) we broke up before I left and she turned PSYCHOTIC :loco: (like suicidal crap) but we decide to give it a try anyway (i was scared  ).

Didn't work, she couldn't trust me. I trusted her, but that didnt matter and I was always wrong. and she decided to **** this guy I know also  , lovely girl. She can go to hell

And if you need some helpful hints on what to do in certain situations ask me, I'm a pro. (I tried to break up with her 7 times after I left and about 1,000,000,000,000,000 arguments)

LD relationships are so damn tricky. I do, however, wonder why people never worry about their non-sex-having friends when they move. You never have a problem keeping those friends...just the ones you're *ahem* "with". What can I say...my g/f moved out to Los Angeles and slept with an ex boyfriend shortly after. So maybe I'm not the best example. *sigh*
