well as many of you know i am doing valet parking while i'm in college. it's not a bad job except i have no life on weekends. anyway last night we get one of the new 350z's. welll the car has plenty of torque, and seems to be somewhat fast, but the fun factor is totally missing from that car. i know i might have drove the car for less than 2 minutes and it's not enough to really have an impression of it. anyway as i said before i didn't find the car that fun. personally i'd take a honda anyday over it. the shifter seemed kind of loose and really shakes my wrist when trying to put in gear. general impression: it's a great car but for those over the age of 45. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to disconected from the road. the honda element with a 5 speed seemed more fun for me. just thought i would share.

I agree to a point. I don't know how much you pushed it, but I test drove a 350z with a badass 25yr old salesman and got it around 80 through some nice turns... it is connected to the road at those speeds, much moreso than a lift-prone honda would be. I agree it isn't a whole lot of fun, but I attribute that to the lack of visibility out the sides and rear rather than the suspension. Oh well, next time you get the chance take one up past 5k rpm and report back:yes:

You didnt really "drive" the car.. You just parked it.. The 350Z is a car that needs to be seriously driven to appreciate what you really have.
