i think the infiniti is quieter too...and suspension is softer...it was just on road and track on tnn a couple of weeks ago..maybe check their website for the differences

Just adding my $.02
Looking really quick, it looks like the Infiniti is another 200lbs heavier, a little less powerful (7hp less), comes stock with a navigation system... that's what I can see at a glance:
<a href="http://www.infiniti.com/content/model/ModelSpecifications/0,,23920,00.html" target="new">Inifiniti</a> vs. <a href="http://www.nissanusa.com/vehicles/ModelSpecifications/0,9439,23261||,00.html" target="new">Nissan</a>
I am sure the Inifiniti has alot of other bells and whistles that come standard that the 350z doesn't. But the main thing: I hate the Nissan's door handles while I love the Infiniti's tail lights...
Again, just my $.02

This thread if very pertinent to me. I am ordering a g35 coupe next week to have it in June, and have done extensive research between the two cars, and driven each within the past week. Here is a list of the differences I have found between the two...
G35 has 8" longer wheelbase
G35 has a backseat (plenty of leg room, tight in head room)
I prefer exterior of g35
interior of g35 is on a completely different level than the 350z
there are no hugeass blind spots in the g35
g35 feels effortless at 90mph, whereas 350z is somewhat bumpy
g35 has a nicer exhaust note
manual g35 comes standard w/ 18" wheels and brembo brakes only on track 350z
hmm... g35 has better warranty
a USEABLE trunk- rear seats fold down for even more room
150ish pounds heavier, slightly less hp
a bit slower but more fun because you are in luxury
a bit more body roll through corners (softer suspension)
hmm... less road noise
more room in general on the interior
thats all i can think of for now
hope that helps
;)
