Axles Or Not?!?!

I have tried this question many times. Not here, yet, but thus far I haven't really gotten a straight answer. If you do an engine swap, do you need to get new axles? I remember hearing that if, say, I wanted to put a b18c in my sol, I would have to get the front axle from a GSR in addition to the engine, tranny, wiring harness, etc. But none of the "full swaps" I have found include axles. So, my question is, do you need new axles or not?

Okay, thanks man. I kind of expected I would. Now, will USDM axles work on JDM engines? Like if I imported a b18c from Japan, could I get axles from a USDM GSR?
